According to the data from the US 2020 Census, as at April 2020, among all Alabama cities and places, Homewood city had the highest population density per square mile (3.19K people per sqr mile), followed by Grayson Valley CDP (3.13K people per sqr mile), and Fairfield city (2.89K people per sqr mile).

On the other hand, Carlton CDP had the lowest population density per square mile (10.18 people per sqr mile), followed by Edwardsville town (12.53 people per sqr mile), and Fredonia CDP (16.53 people per sqr mile).
