According to the data from the United States 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among all Illinois counties, Alexander County had the highest percentage of its population that identified as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone (30.76%), followed by St. Clair County (29.53%), and Pulaski County (28.15%).
