According to the data from the United States 2020 decennial Census for Alabama counties, in April 2020, among all Alabama counties, Washington County had the highest percentage of its population that identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone (7.24%), followed by Lawrence County (4.38%), and Escambia County (4.19%).
