According to the data from the United States 2020 decennial Census for Connecticut counties, in April 2020, among all Connecticut counties, Hartford County had the highest percentage of its population that identified their race as Black or African American Alone (14.14%), followed by New Haven County (13.75%), and Fairfield County (11.15%).
