According to the data from the United States 2020 decennial Census for Iowa counties, in April 2020, among all Iowa counties, Black Hawk County had the highest percentage of its population that identified their race as Black or African American Alone (10.43%), followed by Johnson County (8.40%), and Scott County (8.08%).
