According to the data from the United States 2020 decennial Census for Maine counties, in April 2020, among all Maine counties, Androscoggin County had the highest percentage of its population that identified their race as Black or African American Alone (5.88%), followed by Cumberland County (4.00%), and Penobscot County (0.99%).
