According to the data from the United States 2020 decennial Census for Michigan counties, in April 2020, among all Michigan counties, Wayne County had the highest percentage of its population that identified their race as Black or African American Alone (37.62%), followed by Genesee County (19.67%), and Saginaw County (18.21%).
