According to the data from the United States 2020 decennial Census for New Mexico counties, in April 2020, among all New Mexico counties, McKinley County had the highest percentage of its population that identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone (78.11%), followed by Cibola County (45.05%), and San Juan County (41.12%).
