According to the data from the United States 2020 decennial Census for New Mexico counties, in April 2020, among all New Mexico counties, Curry County had the highest percentage of its population that identified their race as Black or African American Alone (5.99%), followed by Otero County (3.92%), and Lea County (3.76%).
