According to the data from the US 2020 Census, as at April 2020, among all Mississippi counties, DeSoto County had the highest population density per square mile (389.03 people per sqr mile), followed by Harrison County (363.68 people per sqr mile), and Hinds County (261.82 people per sqr mile).
On the other hand, Issaquena County had the lowest population density (3.24 people per sqr mile), followed by Sharkey County (8.80 people per sqr mile), and Kemper County (11.73 people per sqr mile).
