According to the data from the US 2020 Census, as at April 2020, among all Tennessee counties, Davidson County had the highest population density per square mile (1.42K people per sqr mile), followed by Shelby County (1.22K people per sqr mile), and Knox County (942.24 people per sqr mile).

On the other hand, Perry County had the lowest population density (20.17 people per sqr mile), followed by Wayne County (22.11 people per sqr mile), and Van Buren County (22.56 people per sqr mile).
