According to the data from the US 2020 Census, as at April 2020, among all West Virginia counties, Ohio County had the highest population density per square mile (400.88 people per sqr mile), followed by Berkeley County (380.13 people per sqr mile), and Hancock County (352.20 people per sqr mile).

On the other hand, Pocahontas County had the lowest population density (8.37 people per sqr mile), followed by Pendleton County (8.83 people per sqr mile), and Webster County (15.14 people per sqr mile).
