According to the data from the United States 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all Illinois counties, Alexander County had the highest percentage of its voting-age population that identified their race as Black or African American Alone (29.83%), followed by St. Clair County (28.35%), and Pulaski County (28.33%).
