According to the data from the United States 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all South Dakota counties, Minnehaha County had the highest percentage of its voting-age population that identified their race as Black or African American Alone (4.78%), followed by Bon Homme County (1.82%), and Brookings County (1.72%).
