According to the data from the United States 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all Tennessee counties, Shelby County had the highest percentage of its voting-age population that identified their race as Black or African American Alone (50.12%), followed by Haywood County (49.61%), and Hardeman County (38.70%).
