According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, the total Voting-age population (18 years and over) of New York was 16,088,135, which was 79.64% of the total New York population.

Kings County had the highest voting-age population (2,140,371), followed by Queens County (1,949,469), and then New York County (1,461,740). On the other hand, the 3 counties with low voting-age population were: Hamilton County (4,441), Schuyler County (14,508), and Yates County (19,090).
