According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Washington city, DC voting-age population of 575,161 people, 40.82% of them (234,767 people) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - White Alone, 38.87% of them (223,540 people) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone, and 5.35% of them (30,795 people) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone.
