According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Union County, NC voting-age population of 173,864 people, 72.01% of them (125,193 people) identified their race as White Alone, 11.41% of them (19,841 people) identified their race as Black or African American Alone, and 6.29% of them (10,939 people) identified their race as Two Or More Races.
