According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Wilkes County, NC voting-age population of 52,651 people, 88.48% of them (46,587 people) identified their race as White Alone, 4.03% of them (2,121 people) identified their race as Black or African American Alone, and 3.41% of them (1,794 people) identified their race as Two Or More Races.
