According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Suffolk City, VA voting-age population of 72,009 people, 49.79% of them (35,853 people) identified their race as White Alone, 41.37% of them (29,787 people) identified their race as Black or African American Alone, and 4.95% of them (3,567 people) identified their race as Two Or More Races.
