According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Alabama voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 24,552 people who identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, which is 0.63% of the total voting-age population of Alabama.
Mobile County had the highest number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population (3,010), followed by Madison County (2,139), and Jefferson County (1,691).
On the other hand, the three counties with low number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population were: Greene County (5), Marengo County (6), and Wilcox County (8).
In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Washington County had the highest percentage, with 6.82% of its voting-age population identifying their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, followed by Lawrence County (4.08%), and Escambia County (3.77%).
