Arizona American Indian and Alaska Native Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Arizona voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 226,604 people who identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, which is 4.09% of the total voting-age population of Arizona.

Maricopa County had the highest number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population (71,499), followed by Apache County (34,168), and Navajo County (33,068).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population were: Greenlee County (226), Santa Cruz County (346), and Cochise County (1,214).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Apache County had the highest percentage, with 69.58% of its voting-age population identifying their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, followed by Navajo County (41.75%), and Coconino County (22.34%).
