Idaho American Indian and Alaska Native Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Idaho voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 18,441 people who identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, which is 1.34% of the total voting-age population of Idaho.

Ada County had the highest number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population (2,605), followed by Bingham County (2,273), and Bannock County (2,145).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population were: Camas County (0), Clark County (2), and Oneida County (9).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Benewah County had the highest percentage, with 7.35% of its voting-age population identifying their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, followed by Bingham County (6.82%), and Nez Perce County (5.23%).
