According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Kansas voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 23,072 people who identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, which is 1.03% of the total voting-age population of Kansas.
Sedgwick County had the highest number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population (4,817), followed by Douglas County (2,393), and Johnson County (1,888).
On the other hand, the three counties with low number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population were: Logan County (0), Cheyenne County (0), and Comanche County (2).
In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Jackson County had the highest percentage, with 8.20% of its voting-age population identifying their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, followed by Brown County (7.93%), and Chautauqua County (4.54%).
