Nebraska American Indian and Alaska Native Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Nebraska voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 15,096 people who identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, which is 1.02% of the total voting-age population of Nebraska.

Douglas County had the highest number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population (3,838), followed by Thurston County (2,309), and Lancaster County (1,908).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population were: McPherson County (0), Loup County (0), and Hooker County (0).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Thurston County had the highest percentage, with 51.20% of its voting-age population identifying their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, followed by Sheridan County (9.29%), and Knox County (8.57%).
