New York American Indian and Alaska Native Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the New York voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 113,432 people who identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, which is 0.71% of the total voting-age population of New York.

Queens County had the highest number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population (23,285), followed by Bronx County (15,780), and Kings County (15,448).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population were: Hamilton County (6), Schuyler County (37), and Yates County (43).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Franklin County had the highest percentage, with 7.93% of its voting-age population identifying their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, followed by Cattaraugus County (3.18%), and Bronx County (1.41%).
