North Dakota American Indian and Alaska Native Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the North Dakota voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 25,005 people who identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, which is 4.20% of the total voting-age population of North Dakota.

Rolette County had the highest number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population (5,793), followed by Burleigh County (2,759), and Sioux County (2,102).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population were: Golden Valley County (1), Steele County (2), and Slope County (2).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Sioux County had the highest percentage, with 82.63% of its voting-age population identifying their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, followed by Rolette County (70.98%), and Benson County (44.63%).
