Tennessee American Indian and Alaska Native Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Tennessee voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 21,197 people who identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, which is 0.39% of the total voting-age population of Tennessee.

Davidson County had the highest number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population (2,950), followed by Shelby County (2,423), and Knox County (1,514).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population were: Van Buren County (2), Pickett County (8), and Decatur County (9).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Bedford County had the highest percentage, with 0.78% of its voting-age population identifying their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, followed by Putnam County (0.72%), and Stewart County (0.65%).
