Utah American Indian and Alaska Native Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Utah voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 29,983 people who identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, which is 1.29% of the total voting-age population of Utah.

Salt Lake County had the highest number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population (9,773), followed by San Juan County (5,132), and Utah County (3,300).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population were: Daggett County (0), Rich County (3), and Piute County (6).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, San Juan County had the highest percentage, with 49.62% of its voting-age population identifying their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, followed by Uintah County (6.95%), and Duchesne County (4.72%).
