Wisconsin American Indian and Alaska Native Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Wisconsin voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 43,291 people who identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, which is 0.94% of the total voting-age population of Wisconsin.

Milwaukee County had the highest number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population (5,573), followed by Brown County (5,285), and Shawano County (2,398).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population were: Florence County (22), Pepin County (26), and Taylor County (29).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Menominee County had the highest percentage, with 80.71% of its voting-age population identifying their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, followed by Sawyer County (13.59%), and Ashland County (11.39%).
