Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2010, there were 33,370 people that identified as Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone in New Mexico and they represented 1.62% of the total population of New Mexico in 2010. Bernalillo County had the highest number of Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone population (10,329), followed by Doña Ana County (3,006), and McKinley County (2,722). On the other hand, De Baca County had the lowest number of Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone (8), followed by Harding County (9), and Catron County (18).
