Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2023, there were 2,053,696 people that identified as Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone in the United States and they represented 0.61% of the total US population in 2023.

California had the highest number of Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone population (520,285), followed by Texas (231,564), and New York (149,625). On the other hand, Vermont had the lowest number of Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone population (545) followed by Maine (1,086), and West Virginia (1,204).

When it comes to the percentage of each state's population that identified as Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone, New Mexico had the highest percentage (2.37%), followed by Arizona (1.39%), and Oklahoma (1.35%).
