Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2018, there were 66,058 people that identified as Hispanic Black or African American alone in Connecticut and they represented 1.85% of the total population of Connecticut in 2018. Hartford County had the highest number of Hispanic Black or African American alone population (22,310), followed by New Haven County (18,916), and Fairfield County (16,628).
