Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2022, there were 32,562 people that identified as Hispanic Black or African American alone in Louisiana and they represented 0.71% of the total population of Louisiana in 2022. Jefferson Parish had the highest number of Hispanic Black or African American alone population (7,092), followed by Orleans Parish (5,472), and East Baton Rouge Parish (3,289). On the other hand, Cameron Parish had the lowest number of Hispanic Black or African American alone (2), followed by Tensas Parish (15), and Caldwell Parish (18).
