Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2022, there were 19,770 people that identified as Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone in Idaho and they represented 1.02% of the total population of Idaho in 2022. Ada County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone population (2,545), followed by Bannock County (2,482), and Bingham County (2,406). On the other hand, Clark County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone (7), followed by Camas County (14), and Oneida County (19).
