Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2017, there were 58,106 people that identified as Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone in New York and they represented 0.30% of the total population of New York in 2017. Queens County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone population (8,319), followed by Erie County (5,224), and Kings County (5,027). On the other hand, Hamilton County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone (12), followed by Schuyler County (48), and Yates County (54).
