Oglala Lakota County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone population (12,994), followed by Pennington County (9,693), and Todd County (8,684). On the other hand, McPherson County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone (4), followed by Faulk County (8), and Clark County (8).
