Oglala Lakota County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone population (12,688), followed by Pennington County (9,991), and Todd County (8,629). On the other hand, McPherson County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone (8), followed by Faulk County (8), and Miner County (10).
