Oglala Lakota County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone population (12,081), followed by Pennington County (9,364), and Todd County (7,800). On the other hand, Miner County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone (9), followed by McPherson County (9), and Faulk County (10).
