Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2011, there were 89,686 people that identified as Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone in Washington and they represented 1.31% of the total population of Washington in 2011. King County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone population (13,083), followed by Pierce County (9,281), and Yakima County (9,166). On the other hand, Garfield County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone (6), followed by Columbia County (48), and Wahkiakum County (50).
