Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, there were 5,066,867 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in California and they represented 13.35% of the total population of California in 2012. Los Angeles County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (1,380,180), followed by Santa Clara County (610,749), and Orange County (568,800). On the other hand, Alpine County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (9), followed by Sierra County (12), and Modoc County (80).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, San Francisco County had the highest percentage (33.6%), followed by Santa Clara County (33.24%), and Alameda County (27.24%).
