Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2017, there were 5,748,649 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in California and they represented 14.61% of the total population of California in 2017. Los Angeles County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (1,493,332), followed by Santa Clara County (718,773), and Orange County (658,608). On the other hand, Sierra County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (16), followed by Alpine County (19), and Modoc County (93).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Santa Clara County had the highest percentage (37.2%), followed by San Francisco County (35%), and Alameda County (30.63%).
