Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2021, there were 178,256 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in Connecticut and they represented 4.95% of the total population of Connecticut in 2021. Capitol Planning Region had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (58,623), followed by Western Connecticut Planning Region (36,037), and South Central Connecticut Planning Region (25,669).
