Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, there were 635,541 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in Illinois and they represented 4.93% of the total population of Illinois in 2012. Cook County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (348,633), followed by DuPage County (99,756), and Lake County (47,366). On the other hand, Gallatin County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (6), followed by Pope County (11), and Scott County (12).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, DuPage County had the highest percentage (10.74%), followed by Champaign County (9.87%), and Lake County (6.75%).
