Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, there were 704,322 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in Illinois and they represented 5.49% of the total population of Illinois in 2016. Cook County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (384,730), followed by DuPage County (110,615), and Lake County (54,010). On the other hand, Gallatin County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (5), followed by Scott County (10), and Calhoun County (10).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, DuPage County had the highest percentage (11.88%), followed by Champaign County (10.69%), and Lake County (7.67%).
