Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2017, there were 719,999 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in Illinois and they represented 5.63% of the total population of Illinois in 2017. Cook County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (393,280), followed by DuPage County (113,438), and Lake County (55,804). On the other hand, Gallatin County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (4), followed by Calhoun County (11), and Scott County (12).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, DuPage County had the highest percentage (12.19%), followed by Champaign County (10.8%), and Lake County (7.94%).
