Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2018, there were 731,286 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in Illinois and they represented 5.75% of the total population of Illinois in 2018. Cook County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (398,578), followed by DuPage County (116,247), and Lake County (57,414). On the other hand, Scott County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (10), followed by Gallatin County (12), and Calhoun County (13).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, DuPage County had the highest percentage (12.53%), followed by Champaign County (10.8%), and Lake County (8.2%).
