Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2022, there were 762,599 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in Illinois and they represented 6.06% of the total population of Illinois in 2022. Cook County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (409,995), followed by DuPage County (122,014), and Lake County (63,425). On the other hand, Scott County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (12), followed by Alexander County (12), and Gallatin County (14).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, DuPage County had the highest percentage (13.24%), followed by Champaign County (10.57%), and Lake County (8.93%).
