Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2023, there were 774,944 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in Illinois and they represented 6.18% of the total population of Illinois in 2023. Cook County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (414,182), followed by DuPage County (123,794), and Lake County (64,846). On the other hand, Scott County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (11), followed by Alexander County (12), and Gallatin County (16).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, DuPage County had the highest percentage (13.44%), followed by Champaign County (10.69%), and Lake County (9.15%).
