Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, there were 62,187 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in Iowa and they represented 2.02% of the total population of Iowa in 2012. Polk County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (17,275), followed by Johnson County (7,876), and Story County (6,299). On the other hand, Ringgold County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (15), followed by Pocahontas County (16), and Keokuk County (17).
